International Conference on
&
17–18th December 2026
The International Conference on Advances in Polymer Science and Technology, jointly organized by IIT (BHU) Varanasi and Banaras Hindu University, will convene leading researchers, academicians, and industry professionals to explore recent advancements in polymer science and engineering. The event will focus on emerging trends, including sustainable polymer materials, biomedical and energy applications, structural uses, and advanced coatings. Participants will present research findings, network with experts, and engage in discussions on innovative technologies. Hosted at the BHU campus in Varanasi, the conference will serve as a hub for advancing the future of polymer science.
Simultaneously, the conference will host the
14ᵗʰ Professor Sukumar Maiti Polymer
Award Foundation Function. Prof.
Sukumar Maiti (Retired IIT Kharagpur) is a
renowned polymer scientist. His students
formed a Foundation by his name to
accelerate his benevolent ideas. Professor
Sukumar Maiti Polymer Award Foundation
will celebrate this year the 14ᵗʰ Polymer
Award Function at Varanasi. All India talent search in polymer science
(innovativeness and country specific
research) will be carried out by a high-level
jury and one polymer scientist below the age
of 50 will be nominated for Prof. Sukumar
Maiti Polymer Award.
